The Story Isn't Over
When life feels unclear and off track, it doesn’t mean it’s all f*cked, it means you’re only seeing one part of what God is still unfolding.

There are moments when life feels confusing in every way possible.
I don’t mean in a chaotic way at all, just… unclear.
One moment things make sense.
Plans shift. Expectations aren’t meant.
and you sit there thinking
“Why is this happening?”
Maybe more honestly saying
“fuck me”
I always like to reference scripture in times like this:
Romans 8:28.
“All things work together for good for those who love God…”
It’s often quoted quickly. It’s not fully understood.
It’s easy to say scripture but not be able to sit in it and what it means for you.
Because the truth is, we don’t have the full picture on everything.
We experience life in moments.
The good & great Verus the bad & horrible.
We see the closed door or a great success.
Our emotions determine the outcomes that make things seem final when they’re not.
We feel the loss.
But we don’t see what it’s making space for.
We sit in discomfort.
Without knowing what it’s shaping inside us.
We celebrate the win.
But we don’t always see how much farther it was meant to take us.
We sit in the moment.
Without questioning what’s going on around us.
What I’m trying to say is that there is a gap between what we feel & think to what’s actually unfolding for our lives.
This why perspective matter more than you know.
I want you to think about the moments that stretched you the most.
Think about how long the days felt.
The decisions you didn’t want to make.
Those moments that you had to leave something behind.
I doubt these are good memories and emotions.
That specific time in your life didn’t feel good.
but also didn’t mean everything wasn’t good either.
We pigeonhole our thinking to that we know “everything”.
But because we are so arrogant we really look over what God is unfolding in our lives.
And it’s because that requires a fuck ton of trust.
This isn’t a post about trust issues so stay with me.
Let’s look at the bleeding woman in the bible for a moment.
She had been bleeding for 12 years.
Spent all she had on doctors.
Was labeled an outcast in society.
In a time where there’s nothing but dust and camels around.
No ChatGPT.
No Google.
No Telehealth.
By all logic, her shit is cooked.
Well not to the woman.
Instead she hears about this guy name Jesus.
Also she finds out that he’s going tour and her town happens to be next in line.
Swims through a crowd of people to get to him.
Only to fall all forward reaching out desperately to touch him.
By touching the fringe of his garment it something happens.
After 12 years of pain & suffering she is healed.
Jesus looks around to find who touched him.
He finds her and applauds her for her faith & persistence.
For 12 years she sat with all the pain and discomfort and yet she knew her story wasn’t over.
Her perspective determined the outcome of her story.
So when things don’t make sense and you’re in a blender.
you don’t need to force clarity.
You can sit in the unknown without assuming the worst.
You can feel pain without believing it’s meaningless.
You can acknowledge hurt without letting it define the end of your story.
Because I believe all things are being worked together for our good,
then even whatever you’re going through right now,
has a place and a plan.
Not as the end.
But as part of something God is unfolding in your life.
